Three Years Touring With Refuzion: What Long-Term Artist Content Actually Looks Like

From Tokyo to Tomorrowland, we've been touring with Refuzion for three years. Here's what that kind of long-term content partnership builds.

We've been touring with Refuzion for over three years. Tokyo and Osaka in 2022. Tomorrowland Winter in Alpe d'Huez in 2023. Reverze in Antwerp. Melodic Madness in Amsterdam. Defqon.1. And continuing through Europe and beyond.

Refuzion is Norway's most internationally active hard dance artist. He performs at some of the biggest festivals in the genre and the audiences at these shows are some of the most engaged in electronic music. They care deeply about how their favourite artists are represented and they notice when the content doesn't match the performance.

What three years on the road builds

The first time you cover an artist at a festival, you're learning. Learning where to stand, when to move, what the artist does before the drop, how the crowd reacts at specific moments in their set. By the third year, you have that knowledge already. The preparation is faster, the shots are better, and the edit reflects a genuine understanding of what makes that artist's performance worth watching.

We've produced multicam live sets, music videos, short-form social content, and promo material with Refuzion across multiple countries. The multicam live set from Melodic Madness in Amsterdam has been watched widely. The one from Tomorrowland Winter shows what a mountain stage looks like when you have the right angles and the right timing.

Scale doesn't change the fundamentals

Whether it's a club in Tokyo or the mainstage at a European festival, the core question is always the same: does this content make someone feel like they were there? If it does, it works. If it doesn't, the production value doesn't save it.

Three years of touring teaches you to prioritise the moment over the technical achievement every single time.
