This event would become one of the greatest productions and crowd reactions we've ever captured, which in our opinion is a clear message to everyone that euphoric hardstyle is still alive.

Challenge

We knew that this would be a good one. Therefore, Refuzion wanted his whole set recorded from multiple angles to release on his YouTube channel as a live set. Adrenalize wanted images. To make this happen we had to bring several cameras, and making sure everything was fully charged.

Solution

For the multicam live set, we used three angles. One gimbal operated camera behind, one camera looking up at the artist from the booth, and one way back over the crowd. This was respectively a Canon camera, an iPhone and a GoPro – and even though the best would be professional cameras for all angles, the most important variable is sound.

For sound, we made sure all angles captured good quality sound, so we could synchronize with the sound captured by the technicians at Front of House.

For Adrenalize's images, we wanted to make sure to get out of the DJ booth, to show the whole production and not just him closeup with his arms in the air.

Conclusion

Capturing content at electronic festivals can often feel stagnant, and it's our task to make sure you feel connected as if you were there through images and videos. No matter the gear, because the sound will always be the most important.
